Productions, producer of Coffee and Tea Festival NYC
gears up for another great show this year—the
3rd Annual Coffee & Tea Festival: NYC. This international
extravaganza is being held on Saturday and Sunday,
April 12th and 13th, 2008 at the Metropolitan Pavilion,
125 West 18 Street, New York, NY.
“The
two day festival will be a celebration of everything
related to coffee and tea,” said Lynda Calimano,
Event Producer. “It is quite a unique show in
that it is open to the public and the trade”,
she added. The international lineup of exhibitors
is sure to delight all that attend.
Included
among the featured exhibitors for the 2008 show: Tafu
NY, ITO EN, Café La Paz, serendipiTea, micro-roaster
Real Coffee Corp., Tay Tea, Nestle, Mighty Leaf, Sympatea,
Ceylon Treasures, Chassom, Tavalon, and Jalima Coffee.
The show will also feature some extraordinary artists
with extraordinary products including Cardew Designs,
Harshita Designs, and Theresa Kasun. Chocolate lovers
will be delighted when they sample from Best Friends
Cocoa and Cocoa Love. A list of the exhibitors/partners

updated regularly as new exhibitors sign on to be
part of the show.
The
event also offers two days of programming including
classes/lectures/demos from well-known industry pros
and pioneers. Programming highlights include Tea Blending
by Nini Ordoubadi of Tay Tea, Coffee Cupping &
Tasting hosted by Marcela Zuchovicki of Jalima Coffee,
Afternoon Tea for Fun and Profit led by Ellen Easton,
Cooking with Coffee presented by food historian and
cookbook author Francine Segan, Kara Newman will demo
some amazing coffee- and tea-infused cocktails. Plus,
Japanese Tea Master Yoshikazu Tafu will conduct a
Japanese tea ceremony each day. This ceremony is sponsored
by TAFU NY.
In
addition to being at tremendous exhibitor and sponsorship
opportunity, and a delightful way for visitors to
spend the day, the 3rd Annual Coffee & Tea Festival:
NYC will help raise funds and awareness for Cup for
Education, the official charity of the event. Cup
for Education helps the poor and rural coffee communities
of Central and Latin America build schools within
their communities and provide the basic tools needed
to educate the future generations of coffee farmers.
Goodie
bags will distributed to the first 1000 attendees
each day and include samples from Adagio Tea, Celestial
Seasonings, Chopsticks Magazine, Bali’s Best
Candies, Wholesome Sweetners, and others. Tickets
are $20 for an all day pass which includes sampling
of the international lineup of coffee and tea exhibitors
as well as attendance at the classes/seminars/demos
