3rd annual Coffee and Tea Festival NYC will
help introduce a new coffee from Mexico. The
third annual Coffee and Tea Festival will
be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC
on April 12-13, 2008 and will include Café
La Paz as a featured exhibitor.
The
two day festival will feature everything related
to coffee and tea and will offer attendees
the opportunity to sample different coffees
and teas from around the world—including
a wonderful new treat from Café La
Paz. Hailing from the Chiapas region of Mexico
is an instant and delicious version of the
traditional café de olla called Café
La Paz. Café de Olla La Paz Chiapas
received the highest praise when it was recognized
by “Alimentaria Mexico” and selected
as Innovative Product of the Year in 2006.
Café La Paz will be a featured exhibitor
at the upcoming Coffee And Tea Festival in
NYC and will proudly be serving samples of
their delicious coffee to festival attendees.
Attendees
will also be impressed with the lineup of
guest lecturers and topics, including: Tea
Blending by Nini Ordoubadi of Tay Tea, Afternoon
Tea for Fun and Profit led by Ellen Easton,
Cooking with Coffee presented by food historian
and cookbook author Francine Segan, Coffee-
and Tea-infused cocktails demo by Kara Newman
with guest mixologist Benoit Cornet of Sanctuary
Tea. Plus, Japanese Tea Master Yoshikazu Tafu
will present the Art of Japanese Tea. This
ceremony is sponsored by TAFU NY.
In
addition to being at tremendous exhibitor

Annual Coffee & Tea Festival: NYC will
help raise funds and awareness for Cup for
Education, the official charity of the event.
Cup for Education helps the poor and rural
coffee communities of Central and Latin America
build schools within their communities and
provide the basic tools needed to educate
the future generations of coffee farmers.
