Top 10 List of America's Best Beer Fests
BAY
SHORE, NY. September 15, 2008 - Forbes Traveler, the
premier online source for inspiring, planning, and booking
distinctive travel experiences, gave the Philly Craft
Beer Festival top honors when they placed it on their
top ten list of America's Best Beer Festivals. The Philly
Craft Beer Festival ( www.PhillyCraftBeerFest.com) is
produced by Starfish Junction Productions and TotalBru
Marketing. The next Philly Craft Beer Festival will
be held on March 7, 2009 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
"We
are thrilled that our Philly Craft Beer Festival has
been honored with top ten placement among other respected,
long-standing, and well-known beer festivals taking
place across the country," said Andy Calimano,
co-owner of Starfish Junction Productions. "We
knew Philly was a great beer town for two very obvious
reasons, the amazing beer produced there and the sophistication
of its resident beer enthusiasts. It's the perfect city
to host a craft beer tasting event."
The
3rd annual Philly Craft Beer Festival will be held on
March 7, 2009 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. "Our
2009 show will be better, not bigger," said Chris
DePeppe, co-producer of the event and owner of TotalBru
Marketing . "The 2008 festival sold out two weeks
prior to the event. We're not looking to pack more people
into the venue, but to deliver a greater experience
to both the brewers and the attendees," he added.
The
2009 Philly Craft Beer Fest will showcase more than
60 local and international breweries that will offer
more than 120 beers for sampling. It will include highly
acclaimed local beers from Yards, Nodding Head, Yeungling,
Victory, and Dogfish Head as well as great brews from
award-winning breweries including Unibroue (CANADA),
Blue Point (NY), Stone (CA), Rock Art (VT), Sam Adams
(MA), Thomas Hooker (CT), Southampton (NY), Boulder
Beer (CO), He'Brew (NY), and Rogue (OR).
"For
each beer festival we produce, we partner with a local
charity," said Edward Duhon, co-owner of Starfish
Junction. The 2009 Philly Craft Beer Festival will,
once again, help to raise funds for the Committee to
Benefit the Children (C.B.C.). The C.B.C. provides resources
for treatment, care and family support to benefit area
children with cancer, leukemia and serious blood disorders.
To date, "the Philly Craft Beer Fest has helped
raise over $20,000 for this local Philadelphia charity,"
said Duhon.
The
3rd annual Philly Craft Beer Festival will be held on
March 7, 2009 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Two ticket
